Michael E Crowson

Mike’s roots always have been and still are right here on the Eastern Shore.  He grew up in Sharptown and attended Mardela High School.  He knew several of his clients before they were actually clients. He brings a hometown outlook to his law practice, fostering in-person relationships with his clients.  Most of his business clients have been relying on his counsel and advice for years.

Besides handling his client’s regular business and personal legal concerns, Mike is one of only a few attorneys on the Eastern Shore who can handle not only a no-asset Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, but also a Chapter 13 partial repayment plan or Chapter 11 business reorganization.  He is one of the very few attorneys in the State of Maryland who has gotten a Chapter 12 Plan, which is used by distressed Farmers and Fishermen, confirmed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.

He brings that same personal interest to his tax practice.  When your lawyer is also part of your community, you can feel reassured that he is going to deal with you honestly and frankly. Years of dealing with bankruptcy trustees has translated into the knowledge and negotiating skills needed to deal with tax forms and tax collectors, as well as the IRS and the Maryland Comptroller’s office in general.  Taxpayers in trouble are relieved to have him and his resources here, where they can meet with Mike in person and talk with him face to face.

Mike is part of the community.  He belongs to the Wicomico County Bar Association and the Eastern Shore Bankruptcy Bar Association. He is active in the Sharptown American Legion as a Son of the American Legion. He is also the proud dad of Wink the Wonderdog, who is often at the law office warmly greeting clients.

Mike’s home is here; his law practice is here; he’s here and will be here. If you owe back taxes to the IRS or the State of Maryland, or just need legal advice on a matter that concerns you, Mike Crowson is your local, legal, logical choice.
